Hi all,

On this thread we'll announce who has won the previous week's Guess The Goals comp.

So for week 2, we had a massive 19 winners! Each guessing that the Cardiff v Man City match would deliver the most goals.

    BOOM £1.79!!!!

    Just a suggestion instead of doing the match with the most goals why don't we change it to guessing the total number of goals scored in a round of matches?

    Give it to the 5 closest or whatever - just an idea that might make the wins a little bigger! Not that I'm complaining about my free £1.79 lol

    or even make it if there is a couple of games tied then its the team with most goals in 1 of those games as a tye breaker ....but a good comp

    how about if 2 or more games are tied the game with the quickest 1st goal is the winner  a bit like super 6 . eg villa 3 man city 2 1st goal scored 40 minutes , everton 3 newcastle 2. 1st goal scored 10 mins then anyone picking everton game would be the winner

    Some good suggestions on this thread..Looks like another massive amount of winners this week with 3 games ending 3-1, could even be another 4goal game if the 2nd half of the spurs/arsenal games produce some goals...Guessing the amount of goals scored in all the premiership games is a great idea..

    Thanks churchy, we do close the thread some time before the first game, and we also take a copy of all the entries so that if somebody tried to edit their answer it won't matter as we have the original. Not that we don't trust people but this did happen previously with our 'Goals, Goals' Goals' comp.

    Obviously some people may have entered more than one prediction which we will have to check.

    Chelsea v Cardiff (1st goal 10min)
    C.Palace v Fulham (1st goal 7min)

    All 5 winners came from the Chelsea v Cardiff match as 2 were dead on with the 1st goal minute and 3 were just 1 minute out..

    I had arsenal first goal at 18 minutes and it was scored in the 16th minute so I missed out by one measly minute! Gutted!

    One person managed to get the minute dead on for the Liverpool match!
