Do some tables open in the old format and some in the new?

As far as I can see all tales open in old format unless in cash you choose  the new one.

My understanding too (?) Depends which you select (on the tables where the two options are available).

The new tables are on cash at the moment and will open if you double-click on the table in the lobby or click the new table button. If you choose the original open table button, you get the previous table.

If you get on via a waiting list it opens in the format which u used last time u were on that specific table

Yeah open the table in your required form (new or old) and join the waiting list from there when it opens.
