Whats your thoughts on 3 betting?  3 betting is fine with the right reasons behind.  Are we 3 betting in position for him to call oop with worse or are we 3 betting with some kind of table dynamic that we can profitably get aq in here pre.  Can we have this hand in our flatting range if hes going to fold to 3 bets with his worse hands and 4 bet everything he has better and fold worse. It all depends what your reasons for 3 betting are id like to know what our plan was?

Percival said something to me ages ago that was very good advice.

Sometimes you have a plan in a hand like to iso a limper then cbet basically any flop, but then when you iso 2 others come along too. That wasn't part of your plan so you need to adapt to it.

Ok so you've got a plan, you 3bet the opener, thinking he's gonna call and check/fold loads of flops so that's good. BUT the guy behind you has f*cked up your plan, the situation has completely changed now and you have to throw your original plan out the window and work with what you have now, and it's an easy fold to an cold 4bet.

If you have a 'feeling' you're ahead then just do what you want obv, but it is bad.

Most of the time this is a fold i dont mind 5 bet shoving here with the right table dynamic i think its fine.  However with no reads on the villan that hes capable of getting out of line or table dynamic then its a fold i think 5 bet shoving readless would be bad.

I stand up and go and make a cup of tea when I get cold 4 bet here so I don't do anything stupid.

Its definitely, 100% (with no reads as said) a fold.

You may find out later that he likes to 4 bet with random junk but 99.9% of the time in this pos v some random op you are against AA,KK,AK,QQ  which all absolutely crush you.

I also think Percival is going to be wetting himself with excitement at being quoted by Lambert. Although it's not, perhaps, the snappiest of quotes. lol

Anyway, IDONK, stop being a wally. Take other ideas in and refute them with your own ideas. If your ideas are better, you'll convince yourself of that and if your ideas are worse, you should be willing to accept it.
