Apparently this was my fault.
1. He checked flop.
2. He gave me the chance to see the river.
Now, if he had raised, maybe I would have believed he had it, but surely, if you have broadway would you not build a pot? And, would anyone fold the wheel on last card if the pot wasn't built and someone suddenly bangs in 600 odd chips?

Meh, sometimes people take odd slowplay lines, just make notes and move on.

Not sure if you have the right odds to be calling turn though.

Chasing a gutshot is pretty bad when its not even the nut straight and you could be totally dead like you where here.

This post has no bearing whatsoever on the fact I lasted a mere hour at Newcastle spt when my opponent refused to lay down his gunshot to my flopped set of queens and hit on the river,forcing me to value shove my last 88bb whilst being dead!!
