Thanks all courtesy of my teen obsession with Jamie Lee Curtis, Arnie films and Mr Smith my English teacher thanks to whom I will never forget the meaning of oxymoron. He used the example Charlton Athletic.
In Response to Re: The cryptic is back with a movie twist : Close but more accurately it is because people are willing to pay to get out but not pay to get in Posted by Talon
Not true, remember it wasn't that long ago that you had to pay both ways (well maybe it was quite a long time ago, I am getting old!)

You and me both. But as someone who has spent 40 years in plymouth and worked in cornwall i have to keep the old feud running
Well done phantom. And borinhave a guess and give your logic, if not right then you might help someone else Posted by Talon
Well, the Jets and Giants are the NFL teams from New York (New Jersey, really)... so I was thinking Gangs of New York. Sadly "Gangs" is only five letters, so that doesn't work.
Number 16, I was thinking Rocky V. Four sequals leads to five and the Fonz is a bit rocky... Great logic, no? lol

I have always favoured shakespeare for this definition. Parting is such sweet sorrow.
Little did you know that you would ever be using this in the future especially on a poker site
3) Legends of the fall - Aspirin kicked in!
Very well done both. 2 good answers there
?
Sorry, couldn't resist, like my films!
Both about as wrong as can be. But because i am in a generous mood i will swap the numbers around and make them both right
I also think I know number 16... but I don't know why.
