full ring

I know sky made there reputation with 6 max tables but have they got any plans to run full ring games, surely they would attract more people to the site. As most players start playing online and maybe once they get the bug would like to try a casino but I have never been to casino with a 6 max tourney (exception sky tour)

    They offered 9 man tables until about 12 months ago, they got very little play and were understandibly dropped

     Maybe have some of the main events full ring, it may hurt for awhile but im sure it will bring more players in,

    Why are you sure of that? If it annoys more of the current players than those it may bring it, it will be a negative move.

    I used to like the full ring tables. They always ran at lower limits. Was a great way to play tight and win as a beginner.

    I just think it was a good gimmick to get people interested but 6 max just isn't living in the real world and sky poker wont grow because of it

    If you look on Stars and Tilt they have introduced a lot more 6 max tours and their 6 max cash are also busy so have Sky really got it wrong I think not. In saying that I personally have no objection to full ring tours and cash.

    One used to get going at 100nl every so oftern and it was terrible for traffic.

    On an average night there might have been ten 6 max tables going. If a full ring got going there would be like three 6 max and the full ring.

    It was extremly detremental to liquidity and therefore sky rake.

    One of Skys better business decisions to get rid of it.

    As for Skys growth. Name me a bigger site that started so late in the game.

    I think you should change your name to zzzzzz if u like ten handed. Only thing I can think of more boring than ten handed is limit poker.

    Not a case of not having to play them as if sky offers one thing it affects the liquidity and profitability of other games. Not as simple as that.
