What a joke, what personality, havnt heard him speak all year, whats he done thats been funny, witty, different, stand out from the crowd personality wise this year, its a total joke, might as well give it to steve'interesting' davis lol. Any one else think its a load of ballcocks

    Spot on loony, Phil Taylor will never win it purely because the beeb don't cover his version of the sport and buying it from Sky is too demeaning for them. Incidentally, Ryan Giggs won thanks to the power of the internet. As it was purely based on public votes, and his odds were so long at the start of it, people and syndicates bet big on him. Some people got over 200 to 1 on Giggsy winning so it's in their interests to place a load of votes to ensure a result in their favour.

    What a joke, think he scored 1 league goal last season & started 12 games & he wins the Pfa award & now this. He's actually playing better & more this season. Hats off to him because he's been a great pro over the years but he should be getting contribution to football awards not best player & sports personality.

    Surprised Ted Hankey didn't get a nomination! Phil Taylor dominates his sport again & not a sniff, typical Beeb.
