Should i have folded AA to all-in??

edited October 2013 in The Poker Clinic
I was doing OK in £1000 BH and 6 off the money when dealt AA. When he called i was obv a bit worried as he was tight and the flop was not great. I continued and he went all-in.  Was that the sign that i was behind to made str8, flush draw or 2 pair or should i have called regardless bearing in mind stacks and state of tournement.

thanks lgu

I think we can fold here.  Flop is a disaster zone for us.  Smashes right into the middle of his range.  You said it yourself... hes tight.  So many sets, two pairs, straights, flush draws/straight draws with pairs that have great equity against us get there.  Tough to do as you convince your self that you have an overpair and the nut straight draw.... but I think we need to fold.

i think that is what i would call a sky special((((at least they had at and not a2 and then hit a straight and you get trips as ussually happens to me with the nuts
