More Aggression Needed?

Hi guys,

My question is should I have been betting the river here? I'm guessing you guys will say yes because I had top pair, but after he called my bets on the flop and turn, I suspected he may have two pair. Didn't relly know much about the opposition at this point.

    Looks fine to me

    River is a brick but opponent has called your flop raise and your river bet.

    villain has seen you be aggressive on earlier streets so check could be to induce you again.

    789 on board is worrying for 2 pairs and str8s and trips are possible too as villain could have made up blind with small/mid pair. TT also possible.

    If you bet you are not beating anything that will (or should) call you except maybe T9?

    Checking is fine w/o reads. Thinnest I might go for value is with K9+

    Yeah, I almost always check on the river, because I usually worry about those two pair combos as well.
