Question on Cash Poker

edited October 2013 in Poker Chat
Interested to know why there isn't an option in cash poker to not show your cards in an all in situation...

For example in a Casino if two players are all in pre flop or on the flop they have the option to keep their cards covered till the board is out and then declare themselves the winner

I don't see the point in not showing, it's a showdown. If i was playing cash in the casino, i know you don't have too, but i'd still always turn them over.

Don't show, saves a lot of embarrassment.
They say "ace high" I say "you win"

Tbh I hate the way other sites do that.

I can't think of another site that shows the cards when you go all in like Sky and I hate it.

When you get it all in on the flop, you wanna see 'ok I've gotta dodge flush outs' or 'right i got 2 overs and a GS'. It's so annoying just seeing the board get dealt out and then being shown the cards, where is the sweat!

If I have AA or the nuts I show but everywhere I play now no one turns their hands over...

I don't know if I like it or not??

I think there's some confusion. If you bet and they fold, they can choose whether they wanna show or not.

If it goes all in, it may muck the cards on screen but because you've went to showdown they're cards have to be visible to you.... you just have to go to the HH to check (that's why you can access it from the table).
