but two things should be considered
was this from a timed free roll because if it was well you didn't waste money and the timed freeroll has always got masses of bad beats as have most freerolls

if but it was from a MTT which cost money well perhaps it was that he was trying to take advantage of the very weak reraise a better reraise would have been to raise it to 1000 and the chances are he would fold otherwise just call your hand.

min raise is just to cheap to fold
