1k deep stack all in satellite

Just a strange question.
 
What are the chances of one player winning 2 all ins in a row, being registered for 5 before the main event, after winning the first one, stays in the rest. Then when the main tourney starts not in it, not even registered?

I find it very weird?

Anyone from sky want to answer this?

Simple, Joshino.

It looks like the player registered for the event in advance.

When he won the seat, Sky sees that he is already registered and gives him the cash amount for the buy in.

He then deregs the event.

Nothing wrong with this.

The one I was in got 13 runners so, assuming the others got the same 1 in 169

FWIW, I once won back to back all in SPT sats... £3 BI for a £110 seat (I'd already won my seat and was playing for the cash as there was overlay) so it can be done

18 runners both tourneys. Wins both? Work out those odds. Then doesn't play or isn't even registered?

1 in 324.  As the sats needed 20 to break even it is +ev to reg for them for the money

Yes this is exactly how it is done. Players can satellite into an event they have registered for and the player with the equal value of cash to the worth of the ticket, this includes all-in sats.

I dont understand what doesn't add up? You have been given an explanation that makes perfect sense. Just because someone wins one doesn't mean they have less chance than anyone else to win another.
