did i do the rite thing

Was in a tourney last on other site late stages 46 left from 2000 runners iam lying 25th. Utg min raises i am in position with 15bb and have AQ i shove. Small blind covers me and calls utg folds. Small had AA and i go out.

It was a 12 dollor tourney with 4500 for 1st i got 50 for coming 46th. Should i have just called the min raise and fold to a shove.

I was going for the win as if i had of won that hand would have been in top 3.

you done the right thing, you cant flat with AQ when you only had 15 bigs, just unfortunate when the sb wakes up with aces, you might aswell go out 46th and try and win the tournament than hang on for another orbit with you're 15 bb stack and then bust 38th or summet cos the cash jump isnt much different.
