Bettered his winning hurdles form when scoring over fences at Chepstow last November. Ended season with a couple of in-frame efforts in novices and less exposed than a lot of these.
Fair maiden hurdler who hit the frame first 3 starts in that sphere last year. Not disgraced on chase debut in April and didn't get chance to show what she could do on reappearance (fell first).
Brother to yard's useful performer Highland Lodge and didn't need to improve to open account in 3m Kempton novice in January. Didn't look straightforward in doing so, and disappointing at Fontwell.
Better over fences than hurdles, improving again when taking a small-field Fontwell (18f) event in March. Probably needs to step up again in this more competitive event.
Upsilon Bleu - (Chepstow, 16:45) 11/1 2nd Very useful hurdler/chaser who has done little wrong when twice finding one too good over both sets of obstacles earlier this year. No forlorn hope on his seasonal bow here.
Won twice over hurdles last year for James Lambe. Promise completed starts over fences for current yard, though no match for Sergeant Mattie at Uttoxeter last time. Cheekpieces tried.
Won both bumper starts in 2012 and off mark at second attempt over hurdles at Musselburgh in December of that year. Fell when last seen in April 2013 (would have won) and well treated if all is well.
Fair maiden hurdler who attracted support on just his third start over hurdles, but was ultimately well held in fourth at Worcester (23f) last month. Still early days in this sphere, however. Visored.
Top-class chaser who won this race in 2012 and landed 3 Grade 1s the folloing year, including the Betfair Chase last November. Not seen since finishing second in the King George, but the one to beat.
Useful hurdler who has already shown smart form after just 4 starts over fences, chasing home Balder Succes at Kempton in February before gaining his revenge in a Grade 1 at Punchestown in May.
Ballinvarrig - (Exeter, 15:15) Won 19f events here/at Ascot at the turn of the year and chased home subsequent Cheltenham Festival winner Present View at Kempton in February. Below par at Punchestown in May, though not dismissed.
Scored on his first completed start over fences at Chepstow a year ago and ended the campaign with a couple of in-frame efforts, but he ran no sort of race on last month's Cheltenham return.

Useful Flat performer in Germany, and several good efforts over hurdles despite remaining a maiden in this sphere. Sure to be thereabouts again.
