If that's a capped table trev I think we have to fold pre.

Not an expert @ this (or any) format but with the shorter stacks the implied odds to play these kind of speculative hands aren't there, especially out of position.

V tight & V aggressive is probably the best way to play them? idk....

Don't think we should fold the river, but maybe fold pre, flop, and turn!

    GL with the session.

Just wondering if you want any advice on the hands played or not? As Dohhh said we should be folding pre-flop in hand 1 (irrespective of it being a capped game or not, but even more so when capped!) J9o just doesn't hit that many good flops and often we'll be in a RIO situation where we flop top pair vs a better top pair.

When it's not a capped game and 100bb deep if you  wantto play a loose style (and we should be playing a loose aggressive style if we want to play loose) and see a lot of flops then at least be somewhat selective. Would normally fold all offsuit-connectors (with the exception sometimes of JT, T9, 98, 87) and play all suited connectors/suited 1 gappers from 75s upwards.

    GL anyway with today :)

The capped tables are a bit of a mare.....

Its a new concept to me, something i've never tried before......the chips go over the line quite often and with a much wider range. Perhaps i'm being too nitty, but find myself folding a lot to the shove.

    will keep at it.

Right it's all over......All tables have now broken up, so i'm off for a brew and then onto MTT's later.

The action on the tables pretty much died, so not a lot to report.

The jury is still out on the Capped Tables and i'm not sure they are my cup of tea. Variance seems very high in these, but could just be the fact that it was my very first attempt at them. I will give them another go, but probable better sticking to regular cash tables for now.

Yeah I don't really like capped tables at all. It's like playing a tournament mid stages (similar amount of BB's) but w/o the fun aspect that a tournament brings. Probably ideal for nitty players/mass multi-tabling but if you like to play a lot of hands it either becomes boring or unprofitable. That being said they are often good value since not too many regs play them AFAIK.
