Is it true you dont have to pay for your ale there if your playing cards or roulette or whatever?

How exactly does this work...u just leave tips....but whats the norm? how much? how often?

If I sit there for 4 hours n sup 8 pints of beer or whatever, wud I just walk out n gi the waiter 20 quid? 30 dollars or watever?

Or is it everytime she comes to the table?

"everytime SHE comes to the table" - Haha When Im talking about a poker hand I always refer to my oppo as a he. He checks, he raises etc.

Now its someone fetching and carrying my glasses its suddenly a she.

I never even thought!! - Apologies! Im so presumptious!(spellchek)

Tipping waitresses at the gaming tables: Every time she gets you a standard drink, give her a buck per bottle/glass. If you want something arty farty fancy, double it. DO NOT go to the bar yourself, you have to play full price. And you can use cash poker chips/gaming chips.

Casinos: If you're looking for good tourneys then unless you're prepared to pay over $100, you're not gonna find any good structures. Cash, MGM, Imperial Palace, pretty much all the mid-range casinos spread $1-$2 (lowest NL game live) and have really soft games. Search for All Vegas Poker in google and that might help ;-)

Moneywise depends on what you're gonna play - $1k-$1.5k if NLHE Cash but about $800 if you're planning on playing limit cash. There's no one right answer to that question to be fair, I'd have a read of as many vegas sites as possible to get a handle on things. (Figures quoted above are for playing only - dont forget money for food, shows, and everything else!)

    Hi mate, you'll love it!!

Its the best place on earth. It is true, if your playing on the tables you do get free drinks, all you have to do is tip the waitress a dollar or two. What i found was that while i was getting free drinks i was blowing hundreds of dollars on roulette and blackjack!!

So be careful, it might be cheaper to sit at the bar and pay for your drinks!!!

Poker wise, the best tourney i found is the nightly one at caesers palace, pretty deep stacked, slowish clock, and a magnificant card room!!

With regards tournies, u get what u pay for really, the more you pay the better the structure. The $1 $2 cash game in mgm was pretty juicy, caesers and rio were full of regs, not much value.

hope this helps, you lucky ****, im so jealous!!

Wow, nice one, Les Vagas is the nuts. (That was just for Vince.....).

Ceasars is a terrific Cardroom, as is The Venetian.

As Kaidus said, google "All Vegas Poker" & it has everything there.

Please remember that Tourney Juice in Vegas averages 25%......!

Yep, I used to know Les Vagas well.
He used to have the peanut selling franchise outside Trent Bridge.
This meant that he was the only person allowed to sell peanuts there.
Hence his slogan "Les Vagas is the nuts".

I gotta say, I agree with that. Vegas will always be there. You get one shot at buying your own home, & it sets you up for life.
