    Hey IDCU

Just do what is right for you, you have done really well.

The mental side of poker is definatly really difficult, and I think you used to play an awful lot, stick to what works for you.

If you are happy just playing games now and again stick to that. The good thing is the games will always be there, so come and go as you see fit.

If you play 15 tables super tight for a few years you will make money. Having the bballs to step up levels is a different story isn't it IDCU.

Anyone can crush lower levels by waiting for A=K or better an throwing in the occasional educated bluff., thats how it used to be in the casinos.

Also remeber Sky was once super loose, but these days its getting super tight due to the regs telling every man and his dog sky is soft. A 60p DYM can take an hour, wind it back 2 years a 60p DYM was done in 15 minutes (maybe less).

Remember the days of 2 all in's in the first orbit? they have gone.......Even IDCU has tightenned his game, watch him...on some tables he only plays 3 games in a hour, but thats what it takes these days. Play less hands but make sure they are the right hands.

Live poker in casinos is still the donk/fish fest it always was though, but onlinepoker is different now

Or so my dad tells me.

I'm assuming when you say "remember" above you weren't talking about last week but on another thread when I asked why you wouldn't recommend sky you said to me:

"Because I've only been here 5 days lol. I would of thought that was obvious."

    Make your mind up lol!!

    Nice post
I hope you didn't take offence at my post. I was just messing around.
Hope you can continue to deal with your issues and come through them all.
You're absolutely right. Family and love is far more important than any game of poker.
    ..

On a lighter note :) have a look at the hand I put up in the clinic and tell me what you'd have done.

Not sure what to make of this thread.

Having got to know u abit off forum I know that the real idcu is different to what forumers have seen.

But they only see what you let them see,  it's half your fault, for being so sensitive and at times being a plonker.

Get a small roll deposited, play for fun, win a few quid while you do it.

Fear this thread will only go 1 way though.

    Questions.... (as it is a Q n A thread)....

Are you happy about going bald at such a young age?

Are you going to do anything about it?, options include, hair transplant & wig?

    Do you look like TonyG?

Are you a better poker player than Lambert180?

table selection is key in cash games no point playing the regs on the afternoon as u wnt win much i found the best times to play are early hours of the nite ya fridays satursdays around 3 am always get the drunks on keep notes easy money i find

as for mtts patience is key play lots of sats try n get in the big buy ins every button if it folds round to me raise position is key as u know i stick to the basics abc works for me i see alot of people play aggro early doors in mtts dnt understand it myself its a marthon not a spring ya cnt win a mtt early stages but ya sure hell can blow ya chance i find abc is the right way to play for the 1st 4 levels then open ya game up when the blinds are 50/100 100/200 etc meaning raise every unopened pot 3 bet light if u got notes on players

U can get coaching from Vanessa Selbst for less than that!($600 per hr)... I know which I'd prefer, and I don't think IDCU would disagree ;)
