Decided to multi-format as well as multi-table tonight.  Will load up some of the MasterCash tables to run along side the UKOPS main and mini.  Probably 5p/10p and 10p/20p - will sit down on those from 9.30ish, just befoe the MasterCash hour on the show. As Tikay and Anna will be zero-tabling by that time, then please feel welcome to join in too

2013 was the year that I first won two tourneys in one night (on Saturdaynight I won the £2.20 and £1.10 Deep Stacks). Does that qualify for the Jackpot lol? 2014 will be the year that I win the Jackpot, or at least will try.

2014 will be the year I win a big live tourney (in my Spideman onsie if that's what it takes!!!)

In 2013 I was a losing MTT Player. Not by much, but enough.

In 2014 I will probably still be a losing player sigh, unless there is some way I can get into a ME one night on sky. Any night really, lets say a Tuesday
for example.

Ross, could you give me some advice on hands such as AK and AQ during MTT's with no reads on opponents. If I'm facing an all-in pre-flop, and I'm in position, what is the standard play?

P.S. The producer does try to get rid of Orford every year, that's why he's saying Richard will lose his job in 2014. However, Richard is like a bad smell, he just won't go!

just finished 86th in ukops 4 - had an absolute blast - took 2 heads for 75 quid in total and i satellited in for 20 POINTS - absolutely over the moon!!!!!!!

Think you might have been a bit harsh b4 the break when analyzing the play of marmite and his A8 hand because you failed to take into account his alias during the play and with that added to the mix there will be players who loved his play aswell as those who hated it but no inbetween

Also just want to apologize to Ross for not speaking to him at our table last night, i wasnt been ignorant mate i was on a few tables and didnt notice your chat until after you left the table.

2013, was the year I met Richard Orford, and he never bought me a drink, or gave me one prize for a post.

2014, I intend to meet this nice guy called Ross.  A much better judge of character, humour and better poker player.

Alas, I predict he will also not buy me a drink, nor enter me into a prize tourny.

Either way, I am a winner, for meeting a couple of nice blokes.
