When is a deepstack not a deepstack - when its a turbo
Just realised that tonights TKO deepy is a 5 minute blind turbo. Was really looking forward to this one as was all the other players i guess, a real opertunity to end the challenge on a high, but i sense its going to be the usual shove fest after 20 minutes - not a deepy in the real sense of the word just 5000 chips. I understand that 12 min blinds would make it go on too long but i mean, a turbo is a bit steep, why not 7 or 10 mins? Maybe Burgundy fields has a lock down rule after 11pm lol

I wouldn't have been quite so disappointed if it had orginally been announced as a turbo game instead of using the term "deepstack".
Oh well enough of the moaning.......Good luck to ALL in the game tonight.

I agree - in a way, & it was news to me. But it remains a Deepstack, as advertised, so there's no change there, it's just faster than we anticipated.
You can see the prob thouigh - if the normal structure was used, it would be turned 9pm before the "No-Shows" even busted out, & the thing would go on until the early hours of Wednesday. Which is too much for many players.
Anyway, it's just detail - nothing could spoil the overall fun effect this TKO has been, nothing. Except an Orford victory. And that ain't gonna happen.
