It's just pure gamble. Nothing wrong with that of course, just don't expect the average mini BH player to fold out anything that resembles a made hand.

I'm not good with the maths side of things! You have outs, lets leave it at that 33% ish vs TP maybe...

I'm gonna guess top set...

well its a shove   he can fold with j weak kicker or any pair on this flop

do you just jam your sets OTT? It's a rather big bet. I would prefer to make it 450-500 and then jam on good rivers (good as in you hit or good bluff cards - Q, K & A are "good" bluff cards. 7 or 8 are half decent bluffing cards, anything else I wouldn't bother.

This is just pure gamble.

And making such a big overshove with sets here would be just as bad as this shove is.

You do have some FE imo but the risk/reward aint good enough imo cos of how small the pot is, you only have like 35% equity against something like KJo and because it's such a big overshove, when you do get called TP is the absolute minimum you'll see.

ok well that's good. However the main problem with jamming is it's hard to balance accurately. If we're only jamming with flush + straight draws + sets then a good opponent can play very well against that range where he should only be calling with a set of fives and better (possibly some hands like AcJc depending on how many flush draws we are shoving OTT)

However if we raise turn instead to a normal sizing we can widen our raising range and it becomes harder for opponent to figure out what to do.

I think flatting is my preference here. The board is pretty dry and presumably most of us would flat our sets here. IDCU's assertion that he'd shove, not withstanding.

There are so many great cards for us on the river. Our flush and straight draws are disguised, so we're likely to get paid and we can always rep those bluffing cards Ivanovic mentions that miss our hand but scare the villain.

I'm not sure we rep many decent hands when raising the turn. We're probably restricted to sets or J9.

I agree. Flat and reassess on the river considering the river card and his action. Tbh an ai isn't putting your opponent to a difficult decision, IMO.
