E - wallets

edited March 2014 in Poker Chat
once i get my computer wiped and cleaned up etc and a new telephone line fitted i really need to get back playing muliple sites, i currently dont have a roll on any other sites as ive just been playing here this year so i figure the best way is to get one of these e-wallets and spread my sky roll over a few sites. does anybody else use these? i have no clue about these to be honest so if anybody could tell me what is the best one to use and some details on depositing/withdrawing and charges etc i would be very gratefull. cheers!!!

Personally I dont like them. They make their money by charging you to withdraw money from your poker site and it takes longer to get the money into your bank account if you need the money quickly.

There are two major companies that offer e wallets for various poker/casino sites(skrill and neteller) and for me it adds an unecessary layer to the process of depositing and withdrawing from sites. I appreciate it means your roll is all in one place and you can move it around as necessary, but what happens if one of these companies goes bust? As far as I am aware they are all offshore registered and therefore you wont have the same rights if they go bust as for example a uk financial institution.

I would rather deposit/withdraw direct to/from a poker site, most of the major sites offer this facility.
