    There is a genetic disorder that affects 1 in every 1000 people.

    You got to your doctor who has a simple testing kit. It is 99% accurate in the following way:

    If you have the disorder it is 100% accurate. It will yell you correctly that you have it.

    However 1% of the time it throws up a false positive and incorrectly tells you you have the disorder.

    You get tested and it comes up positve.

    Should you worry, what is the likelyhood you have the disorder?


    Dont worry, you  only have 1 in 11 chance of having the disorder.
