My opponent has flopped the nuts and has got a set as a "back-up" but I am still 53% "favourite" on that flop. Sadly I didn't hit my draws. It's a great game - so long as you can learn to accept that hands like this happen.

Have you seen that the biggest online pot has been broken, not surprisingly it was in PLO and between two Scandi's.

Antonius was one of them, they both had top two when the money (the pot was just under $900,000) all went in and both had all manner of draws.  Antonius hit one of them and that was that.

PLO is a fine blend of science and lunacy.

To back up MereNovice here is the very definition of a monster draw on the flop to call two all ins (I raised pre just to get more money in the pot knowing if I hit my hand, I'd hit it big).  I was a 53.25% fav on the flop and this time I hit.

    Hi Tommy,
I'm sure if i'm wrong someone will say, but none of the starting hands were that good(for omaha). It seemed that you were all having a bit of a gamble.
If anyone disagrees then please reply, as it will help to know if there is a great difference between starting hands in omaha cash and tourneys.

It's 5p 10p on a PLO table on a site where PLO has just been introduced.  With all due respect to everyone involved no one was playing a high level game (myself included).  The thing about micro PLO is a lot of people will call preflop with next to anything.  Post flop everyone had a piece or decent draw.  I will defend my play pre though, as I said I was trying to get money into the pot.  If I made my flop I make or am drawing big to the nuts.  Without that, I'm getting out the way.  I flopped a wrap straight draw to the nuts (any A, K, J, 9) and the nut flush draw so I knew I was between 50%-65% to scoop the pot.  Therefore I wouldn't call it a gamble, with the price for the pot I believe it's a winning proposition over time.

Agreed those two were not great. The OP (Merenovice?) was ok, would have been better double suited.

Huge variance in Omaha (lolmaha) makes it fun!!

Yep, double suited would have been nice pre-flop but on that flop I'd got everything (except the nuts!).
Just posted it because I loved the way it played out - that's why I love Omaha.
