In 1985 I was looking in the paper at the horses for the Grand national, my Wife had picked hers, and my 5 yaar old son said he wanted one too, so I said ok and he picked one. I tried pointing out it had no chance but he insisted, so I put I pound each way on Last Suspect for him. Mine is still running

As regards the Grand National my best advice to people is to back any horse that I DON'T - that way you might be in with a shot!!

We all know and love the way Neil plays poker.

The cash games emphasised that its just so hard to put him on a hand because he has a plan for both premium and to be honest garbage hands, depending on his opponent.

My questions are

When he gambles on the horses is he more or less disciplined?

Does he read the form or rely on information?

Does he prefer high stakes on one horse or small stakes on multiple selections?

and finally is he more successfull with handicaps or stakes races?

Have a fantastic show and I hope you all back the winner of the national!

If he runs I'll be backing Hunt Ball each way just because I can!
