    I ended up cashing in the end as the guy imploded next hand, but I guess I was chasing something that wasn't actually there

      The thing to remember in omaha is that you must use 2 cards from your hand and 3 from the board to make your final hand. If you need further help refer to strategy guides posted in general poker chat. One called hints and tips for beginners is very useful

    Yes you are right you were behind to 2/3 of hearts on this board and you should have really got out of there, when the turn came a heart. Tbh, i would have put it down on the flop. Why, well in omaha, when the board pairs, you play a dangerous game, if you dont have the set or the nuts full house.
    Discretion is the better part of valour, others may disagree, but if they do then we all learn.
    One of the most important skills in omaha, for me, is to be able to read the board, not only for what you have but what could be out there that is beating your best hand.

    Ouch I think we've all done this before when we 1st tried Omaha unlucky dude!
