Sensible attempt for value, or slightly too aggressive tilt monkey?

edited April 2014 in Cash Strategy
BvB and the BB only seems to play one table and has is a very much a calling station. Only bet 1/2 pot on flop as if he has complete junk he'll fold to any bet (and I'm happy to TID now, given I don't have a made hand).

The call on flop doesn't necessarily narrow his range down much - would expect all draws to stay in (including gutshots) and if he has an Ace / 2 big overcards.

Looking back I should probably have potted the turn against this villain, but 3/4 was just losing a bit of value.

Then a pretty filthy river card hits - should I just slow right down and look for a cheap showdown here?

I'm not convinced villain would put much thinking into my hand, but I had just lost a full stack with AA after the button in this hand had rivered two pair holding 75 - so he may have some basic thought in his head that I'm on full on tilt at this point... if I give credit for that then he may station worse hands even more so than usual.
