Different proposition since sent chasing, scoring at Kempton in November. Hit and miss in 3 subsequent starts, latterly during the spring, but fresh may be the time to catch him.
Won the Rockfel Stakes over C&D at 2 yrs. Took full advantage of a drop from Group class when impressive winner of listed event at Ascot 2 weeks ago but more needed taking on the males up in grade.
Lost just once at 2 yrs and back on the up when narrow second in 7f Baden-Baden listed race last time. Plenty more needed at this level but at least has conditions to suit.
Won Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot and still looked green when narrow winner of Royal Lodge here 3 months later. Folded tamely in Greenham on return and not seen since, but type to make better 3-y-o.

and had Colic after Greenham and lucky to survive.
Progressed into a very smart performer last season, including runner-up in this race. Not quite so good this year, but shaped as if back in better form in Ayr Gold Cup and has conditions to suit now.
Winner of the Racing Post Trophy at 2 yrs, and fine third in this last term. Not at that level in a light campaign this year, however, so plenty to prove.
Last year's St Leger winner who has developed into a top-class stayer this term, landing Gold Cup in June. Left too far out of ground when second in Irish Leger and still very much the one to beat.
Night Of Thunder - (Ascot, 15:30)2nd No fluke about 2000 Guineas win and bounced back from Eclipse run when strong-finishing third in Group 1 at Longchamp last month, left with plenty to do. Conditions no problem and the one to beat.
Boiled over in the preliminaries prior to finishing well held in the Irish Leger but got his career back on track when defeating Flying Officer in Newmarket listed event last month.
2013 Derby winner who came back from 6 months off to take Prix Foy. Respectable effort in Arc next time, and was an excellent third in this last year despite being trapped wide throughout. Big player.
Scored on handicap bow at Wolverhampton (9.5f) in January and good third back from a break at Beverley in August. However, he's not gone on from that since and others make more appeal here.
Tea In Transvaal - (Windsor, 15:50)NR Useful form for Richard Hannon at 2 yrs, but regressive so far this year, offering little on last month's debut for new yard. Engaged 1.30 Bath Sunday.
Outpointed subsequent Wokingham winner Baccarat in a 19-runner handicap at York (6f, soft) in May. Not at her best over the same C&D latest, but no surprise if she bounces back with a bold bid here.
Useful performance when winning a 6f maiden here on sole 2-y-o start, and runner-up in listed company on return at Sandown in May. However, well held back from a break in a York handicap recently.
Fairly useful form best on Flat, winning a 1½m Saint Cloud maiden in May. Disappointing in handicaps last twice but still of interest now switching her attentions to hurdling.
Landed a soft-ground Newmarket (1m) maiden sole 2-y-o start, but hasn't gone on as hoped in 3 runs this term. That said, it's still early days and he's not one to write off just yet. Up in trip.
Battalion - (Newbury, 14:20) 11/2 3rd Progressive in 2013 and made a mockery of his mark when making all in Ripon handicap on return in April. Back on track when third in a small-field Group 3 at Kempton last month, and headgear may help.
Much improved when a staying-on fifth in the Derby and has confirmed that form with a couple of strong-finishing runner-up efforts in minor/listed company. Should be thereabouts.
Lancelot Du Lac - (Doncaster, 15:15) 16/1 5th Progressive in 2013, winning 4 times, and in much better heart than form figures this season might suggest. Back to a potentially good mark if primed after over 3 months off.
Went close in competitive 5f handicaps at Beverley and Doncaster in August/September. Below par at Ayr last time, but no surprise if he bounces back with a bold show here.

C&D winner last year. Potentially back to a good mark but hasn't shown enough on recent starts to be too positive about her prospects here.
