AK line check

edited April 2014 in Cash Strategy
A generic thing really - not the toughest spot I ever find myself in with AK but still one I'm not sure I'm playing optimally.

Not played NL20 but villain is multi-tabling and from the brief time I've been at the table has seemed to be playing pretty tight.  I'm only here to try and play pots with the other player that sees the flop, but that plan is ruined after the flop raise.

Sensible / most profitable line to take a calling station line through the hand?  If I had faced a river bet - with this card - would it have been too nitty to fold or should it be an insta call still?

I think I would play this hand as you played it.

Unless you turn your hand into a bluff on the river trying to get the 10x hand to fold ( which the villain could still call down) I think your either ahead and a bet folds all but maybe maybe AQ that your beating. You bet for value then get shove on.... I not a nice spot to be in.

My humble opinion regardless of result, well played
