no you aren't,almost everybody who plays omaha got caught out like this when they started to play it back in the day.

Yep, I've done it too, several times. Everybody who usually plays NLHE probably has.

Now I'm in the habit of always checking my hand strength below the community cards before placing every bet, just in I'm accidentally betting with nothing again.

Lovin' the Omaha, it's great game when you get used to it.
