Button is hyper aggro! 9 left... 6 get paid.

edited May 2014 in The Poker Clinic
Does it all go in pre regardless or should I of raised instead of limping. I limped as the button is super aggro and 4 bet every time I opened.

I assume you mean he has 3bet lots, not 4bet.

If he's super aggro then this is an amazing spot to just raise as normal and then shove if he 3bets again.

I mean he was on my left and whenever I 3 bet he 4 bet me. I think the other player goign all in messed the hand up abit as there was a Bounty involved in the £22 - £750

    hi frank,
with the hypo aggro player having 77,no matter how u played it,it was going in preflop.u got what u wanted an all in situation and he got lucky.

Urgh hate flat callers with big hands

If he's aggro I think you should have been raising instead of the call. But I doubt it would have made any difference - it would still have all gone in.

Why are you flatting? If he's super aggro and like you said he keeps raising you, its a perfect time to raise and have him 3bet behind, then 4bet jam .... ?

Why the pre-disposed hate towards this play?

In this instance it's perfect - small stack in blinds and aggressive BTN that's most likely hunting bounties and Hero got exactly what he wanted so he could re-ship and probably get light calls from BTN. In this instance there's a good chance the hand plays out the same had Hero raised pf but with some weaker hands BTN might not play/or just flat pre had we been the initial raiser.

Set the trap. He's playing table captain with the big stack. Personally with the no paid and his aggro, I'd be happy to do what you did.
Others would say call  the r then call aggros raise all-in.
Some more passive get to flop and avoid A OR K then ai but at this stage it's just one of those things. You got it in good with only one player who could knock you out. His big ss enabled him to take a punt. Just ul.
