I picked up a 'Classic Kids' DVD the other day to educate my 4 year old on quality entretainment from when i was little. Jamie and the magic torch, dangermouse, count duckula, rainbow all on it but best of all...........

The Sooty Show with an episode of Sweep as Superdog in a tug of war against Geoff Capes!

Pure quality!

DM was good, but I gotta say I think Count Duckula (also with Jason playing the lead) was in a different league. I re-watched some of the episodes with my much younger brother last year and Duckula had both of us in stitches, not so with DM.

Showing my age here but the original Tom & Jerry's were the best - also there was a cartoon show that had about four different cartoons in it:

I was at TV studios and saw zippy+bongle walking down a corridor.
Is anyone old enough to remember supercar or Fireball XL5.
No ones mentioned Nogin the Nog, or clangers.

How about Stingray & Thunderbirds, and a more recent one that I have never seen repeated called Gargoyles with I think the entire crew of StarTrek Next Gen doing the voices.

And talking of remembering old kids shows does anyone else remember the old Robinson Crusoe series that I think was repeated every summer when I was a kid.
