First hand, Lucky to be ahead when villian calls anyway I would not be getting it all in in that spot

Hand 2 - Unlucky on that, quads just makes it worse but just one 7 had you beat

Hand 3 - you got it in good, Unlucky

Hand 4 - as above

What you got to realise is when it goes all in pre, If you get it in good then its a job well done. Other than KK, the all in pre are just coin flips.

Keep getting it in good and over long term you will win. Nothing to do with sky, its just poker fella

a better term for this is to maybe use the term dice flips because really even the KKvs77 can be changed by just one card

hand1 A2s would win 37% A10 wins 63% so a dice with 6 numbers on you have 4 numbers and the opponent has 2 numbers, he will hit his number sometimes

hand 2- KK vs 77 that is a hand with a 1 in 5 chance of being lost

1010 vs J4= 69% to 31 so again about 2/3 to 1/3 so you throw a dice he has 2 numbers that can hit you have 4 numbers to hit.

AQvs A10 their is a 73% vs 26% so you could say here that you have a 4 sided dice with 3 numbers he has only got the one number.

A10 vs 108 is a 72% to 28% chance so again it's like the the last on and the dice has got 4 numbers with you getting 3 and him getting 1.

AKo vs QJo vs A9s is a 45% vs 32% vs 22% this is the closest one to a coin flip as it's like a AK vs a person holding Ah 9h Qs Jd so it's 50/50

what you should be thinking to yourself when you are doing these shoves is "why do i make the jam if i am not wanting the weaker hands to call" then "why did he call a weak hand if he knows it can't win"

also with the AK, KK and A10 think to yourself "would i have lost them all when the A10 missed and see a very straight board, would the KK have called a raise on that flop or turn card" and the AK " would i have jammed the rest of them chips on that flop also i didn't get the head anyway"

Good post mate,

Suppose this came across as a rant or moan about luck but it didnt intend to at all, just thought with it saying the forum is for beats and would like to share, sometimes i like to browse this forum anyway and see oher people's bad beats and makes me feel better about mine, why ive done it really. Im actually up a decent amount on the site so cant complain really!

I understand the logic course i do, each time theres a chance to get beat, thats poker and why its so great its just frustrating when it happens over a short peroid of time.

All i can say is regardless of the play the situation always differs from different tables (players your up agaisnt etc.) and each time im happy I got it in ahead, even if it was only slightly, and was confident each time to be ahead to.

But as a said mate good post, it does put things into perspective and interesting to actually see the odds and percentages shown a different way.

Got to laugh....
