I get you arrow, but surely you agree that they should be sorting out there load capacity issues or whatever before making a improvment like this, that would inevitably boost traffic?

Forgive my ignorance as a rec player what will antes add to games?

I only came across Antes the other week playing live in the casino. Certainly made some more action since the pots were much bigger. Also hurts youe stack if your running low and not getting any luck

IMHO antes are not needed in 6max.  Antes are used to get more money in the pot pre but as the blinds come around quicker in 6max this is not needed.  For example lets assume blinds of 100/200 and a running ante of 20 in a full ring game and the same blinds with no ante in a 6 max.  Lets now take 60 hands to make it easy.  In the 6max you will pay 10bb and 10sb over 60 hands putting in 3000 chips.  In the full ring you will pay 6bb and 6sb and the ante every hand for a total of............ 3000 chips.  This shows the players are putting in the same amount of chips at each blind level at 6max and full ring with no need for antes at 6max.

Now if you want to say that the blind structures here need looking at then thats a whole different arguement :)
