It happens frequently, to all players. Even MattBates. It's normal, expect it. Poker is a game of both luck and skill. 
 
It would be very suspicious if AA almost never lost. That would be an abnormal situation that warrants discussion.

A player in the WSOP One Drop tournament, which has a $1million buy-in, was knocked out today in a massive pot when his pocket AA lost to pocket AA all-in pre-flop. The other guy made a flush.

Bye-bye one million dollars.

I had this cracker in an £11 Bounty Hunter this afternoon. Did I curse? Did I kick the cat? Did I kick-off in the chat box? Did I moan on the forum? No, I did none of those things. I wanted the call, when it didn't go my way I laughed off the result and moved onto the next game.
