Deffo open shoving this flop.
I did shove.
Never considered a shove pre though, interesting that a few like this option.
I think there's lots of QJ/QT/QK/22/33/44/55/66/77/88 type hands in their limping ranges which I don't trust them to fold to a 6xbb shove.
I don't play many tournaments here though so maybe something I have to think about in future.
Snapped by Q9ss btw, ded!
Thanks chaps.
Generally I'd tap the table and hope to smash a flop, but if I've been quiet for a couple of orbits I might be inclined to take advantage of that pre and gii. Kinda reliant on your table mates paying attention mind.
Do agree that stronger Q's form some part of their limping range though. But we might well be able to fold some of these out, plus other hands they don't wanna go to war with.
Out of interest JJ, how would you play AA in this spot?
There is a very real chance this will get checked around on the flop with no clear aggression pre. Plus with us being so shallow, we don't really need to the leverage to check raise all in as there is already way too much in the middle vs what we have left. If anyone has anything to call with, be that a flush draw, a decent 7, a pair below a Q, whatever, it's all going in, but still better to jam our hand than effectively call it off.
Side note....Q9s probably would have folded to a shove pre
