My thoughts are that I instantly regretted not re-raising more pre-flop. After that I put the other guys on flush draws/ace rag. And as you can see I couldn't get away from my hand.

I prob don't 3b pre readless v an utg open, if I do 3 bet I make it 120

Flop and turn are fine, although I might make flop a bit bigger.

Not sure why you put villains solely on fds or Arag

Yeah agree 3 bet does achieve betting lead but thats about it. Way to small a 3 bet. When flop comes down, I think you uave played your hand face up and saying you have AK AQ type hand.

You then have to think what they would call thay bet with. Once I get two calls on that flop after your agression I fall out of love with top top and now control pot to show down. When turn is an effective blank - I think your bet is forcing a fold out of the KJ or flush draws and also and Ax is folding there. 

You now know if you get called / shoved on you are more than likely behind. I would be twmpted here to check behind or if have reads on a draw then vakue bet to say 400, weaker hands may call and gives you room to fold on a nasty river.

So I would say yes pre 3bet too small

Flop played very well, it told you what you needed to know

Turn... left yourself no room to get away.

Unlucky though, you had some outs which is always nice

Well like I said my main problem was not having an effective read on these guys, however I put them on flush draws and ace rag, as in my experience playing against randoms this is usually the range in a multiway especially in the 21:30 BH, where I dont find the competition to be particularly strong.

In any case I thought two pair was good but looking back I should have considered the set mine in a multi-way pot.

I don't think you're getting away from this in an £11 BH.

I wouldn't check the turn behind. There are a plethora of draws/worse hands that will call a bet. I'm not loving life if I'm check raised on the turn but doubt I'm passing anyway. You're basically only losing to 88.

Sometimes they just have it.

FWIW pre, think calling or 3betting is fine, but I'd 3bet a tad larger I think.

Flopped top two pairs vs flopped set. It's a standard cooler. Unless you have a very good read on a very tight opponent you can wave goodbye to your stack..

Consider it a lost flip. Stacks are nearly always going in on an action flop like this. The flip occured when you were the player dealt the cards that woud flop top two. The villain won it when he was dealt the pair that would flop a set.

It's better to get things like this over and done with in level 1 rather than play a couple of hours and see it happen on the bubble.
