How long would it take....
Let's say a friend or family member asked you to teach them to play online poker, how long would it take before you'd feel your work was done and they could confidently play online? How would you approach it?
Obviously some people are faster learners than others but what do you reckon would be the number of total hours neededl? Assuming they knew nothing before.

Complete newbies?
Well, some people would never get it, just as some people will never be able to drive a motor-car. I'm thinking of people like Orford, obv.
But if they do get it, then I'd say about an hour. Usually, a follow-up session is advisable, to review progress.
I've done 1 to 1 mentoring with score of complete newbies, most of whom became winning players almost from the get-go. At that level, it is a very simple game.
