Mini roller hand

Below is a hand from the mini roller last night early on that has been torturing me a little.

Do you call? and any tips for improvement appreciated?

Villain in hand is a well known (and good) player and so very capable of bluff shoving this river. Should I just GII on the flop? how do you play this turn and river?

The more I think about it the more I think I should have called. There must be a lot of bluffs/semi bluffs in his range due to my check check.

Blocker bet a good idea on river? if so what size?

From an overall MTT strategy perspective should I be more willing to take on these more marginal spots early on in order to give myself a better chance of good cash or is survival the better option when we're still deep.

unlikely to be a flopped set given the flat pre, so most likely a draw
but the turn completes the straight draws, so all you are beating are busted fds
if you're going to call the river prob best to gii on the flop, and you still have outs even if he flopped the straight
