if i'm going to loose and get knocked out why oh why does it have to be like this?

this year i've seen it happen with 55 vs AK on flop K52 an AA vs Ak on flop AK4.
now it happens with 1010 vs QJ

people here complaining all the time about AA and KK loosing well that is much more common than these

the thing about this flip is the set comes on the flop so now he is not 50% chance anymore infact it's 91% to 8.69%.

i can see you feeling just as sickening if you saw a set come on that flop and him virtually dead.

so it's like i said in the title why did it have to give me that set?

100% this, board run out is irrelevant. Once the money is in the middle, you can do nothing about what happens so forget it.

As others have said - the money went in when you were only a small favourite - how you lost doesn't matter. Were the money to go in on the flop, it would be different - I mean we should still try and ignore the runout, but it's harder to take when we go in as a massive favourite.
