cheers hung been busy working, xmasing and school holidaying so havent been posting much recently but having returned to normal service ive had time to forum a bit and it seems that everyone seems to be argueing and very touchy at the moment.
so id just like to suggest that during the hug we could stick in a few verses of " we are the world" or "give peace a chance".

Great initiative HFP (sorry, I'm far too busy to type your screen name in its entirety).

I've also noticed the vitriol and anger that's crept into the forum recently, and am both saddened and confused by it. There's an awful lot of people getting narky about pretty trivial things. Especially when there are far greater things to be concerned about. 

I'm therefore happy to support your cause and participate. Having said that, I'm quite shy and protective about my personal space, so I'll give the hug a miss if that's alright (but keep one aside, in case I get a bit fruity later).

I'd prefer a Virtual Touchathon, if that's possible? I'm thinking that we can all gather at a pre-agreed time, and touch our monitors, whilst issuing an Oath Of Understanding. 

Without getting too Leslie Grantham about it, maybe we could all use webcams... just to prove that we're all doing it, like. I mean I'd feel pretty dumb if I discovered I was touching my monitor and you lot were all sniggering.

Anyway, I don't want to hijack your idea, I'll just leave it with you to sort.
