I suppose there were two flush draws out there, and when the turn came an overcard.. but i duno im playing pretty bad lately..

Any views on my bet sizing?

i dont think the size of the bet makes a jot of difference,he was always calling with his low pair and if i am you i am never folding with the jack coming on the turn..you went in well ahead got him to put all his chips in with 3rd pair and just got unlucky...you will get similar hands and still push/call all-in and win most times,good luck.....

EEN, I'm not a great expert and I'm sure you'll get much better replies than this but.... I think your raise PF is too low. I would have raised it up to 400 and have a better chance of takng it down right there. Then, again, after the flop you only bet about 2/3 pot. I would have bet at least pot size. He didn't have much and you were making it relatively cheap for him both times.

Yeah, raise more pre but not because of this, because you want to not offer correct immidiate pot odds to hands that are behind yours and also extract more value from when you are infront.

yea definately raise more pre, recently people have been min 3 betting me a bit (in cash games) and i call with any 2 even OOP cos as LF says u offer the immediate odds to any 2... so these people have min 3 bet start crying wen i flop a 2pair with 6 9 and stack them.

as for the post you were unlucky but it mite of been avoidable.
