Help with KK v loose player.

edited October 2014 in The Poker Clinic

Hi,

Need some thoughts on this hand from the 15k BH.  The villian has been very active limping, calling and raising from any position although this is the only time I can recall him limpin UTG.  I don't like the limp from UTG as I quite often find it is QQ+ or a limped random Ax.  I raise with KK but as he has been active I only go for 3x rather than my usual bigger with a limper, I am also expecting him to come over to top.

I don't like the flop but still make make the cbet.

On the turn I go for pot control  as I now have the nut flush draw and think I may be behind.

On the river I think the villians pot bet after being passive from pre mean I am beat.

Was I correct to fold?
