playing a BH earlier, was limping with my q9s and then a min raise, 400 extra into quite a large flop, so thought id see what happens,
also miby should have tried too steal pre but something wasn't adding up so had a peek for cheap. if it wasn't for the shoves I was doing so myself too try and take the pot,
if there's a call I have tp anyway...... but then...
Yeah you have to stick the extra 400 in and see a flop, but with this many people in the hand we want to be hitting hard to go to war, some kind of pair and flush draw, or trips, or gutshot and flush draw etc.
Naked top pair isn't gonna be pleasant! Unlucky for 33, less so for JJ.
Yeah, but I think the Shove from the JJ in the SB on the Q high flop is risky with a family pot. you're only getting called by a Q, or a better hand, or ever so maybe 56, (doubtful). maybe a slower approach might have enabled an escape route.
an extra 400 for a pot of 4000 then that flop I was thinking that's nice! Posted by Chris_Mc
with that action pre you have no idea what your opponents are on so i wouldnt be liking the flop, you had to call pre because you were getting insane odds, but i certainly wouldnt be loving the flop because when you are calling q9cc in a multi way flop you are only ever looking to flop flush/straight equity or 2 pair... long term you will be losing money on a q high flop
