Lagging pc

Can anyone help me with this, I was 24 tabling during the punta cana promotion, now this week I am only 16 tabling and my pc cant handle it, sounds like it's gong to blow up! I have stopped running everything in the background, there is no games etc. downloaded just doesn't want to be capable of it, even though it has before.

If its making a lot of noise it could be due to it overheating, or the fans being clogged up by dust so they are having to work harder to keep itself cool.

just an idea? but unless it feels hotter than normal then probably not the case.

Thanks, i'll give that a go. Doesn't feel that hot though

if thats not the problem just try google-ing the make and model of the computer and see if it is a common problem.

Well...the fans hadn't been cleaned in quite some time!! Here's to hoping, thanks jordz

Do not put a hoover anywhere near the inside of your PC, they create static and can very easily kill your motherboard.
