    Think it was Hickok m8 ...... James Butler Hickok if I remember right.

    The dead mans hand was held by Wild Bill Hickok, real name James Butler Hickok. Calamity Jane, not a pretty woman by any means had a crush on him and they are buried side by side in Deadwood Cemetery. I visited the cemetery in 2008.

    ... and, strictly speaking, it was aces and eights in a draw game - not A8.
