Just asking for some advice

edited December 2014 in The Poker Clinic
just looking at my hand historys from the last few days tournaments and these were the ones that cost me so looking to improve ,seem to be chipping up nicely and these are the sort of hands I seem to be wasting chips on!
not sure how and if i played them wrong just asking for opinions but its a sort of selection of hands that are costing me tournaments
the full house one with the QQ333 got to me a little should I just of guessed he had a queen ? is it ever right to lay down a full house ?

Or did I play it great because I didn't shove on him ! I can't believe he didn't shove on me .....

Hand 1 is unlucky, played it fine pre and on the flop, on the turn there is a chance you should be raising to charge the draws but just flatting and keeping the pot small certainly isnt wrong, and you do have to call on the river as you beat lots of smaller 2 pairs which may bet and the flush is hard to spot

hand 2 is hard to comment on as i cant see the stack sizes, but as its a limped pot i wouldnt mind just folding that flop, even though you have 2 pair its just a horrible hand to play out of position, as played id want to check call the river to allow them to bluff,

hand 3 is just a pretty standard unlucky spot, sometimes i think you can lead that flop after slow playing a big ace pre, but as played you did nothing wrong as i think you can get worse hands to call you on the river but probably only aj a10

hand 4 again is obviously very unlucky, personally im always betting that flop and i think that would be the best thing to do even though in this instace you would have lost more chips, but check calling the river is fine even though your only beating missed draws

Hand 1 gotta shove on the turn. The players bet is so weak theyre basically playing with their cards up! either shove, or know theyre on a draw, and dont call the river.

    Thank you fellers !
Just rememberd the saying 'don't go broke in a limped pot' and hand 2 seems like a classic case !

And I'm the first to admit that I lose chips trying to bluff when I  don't hit after maybe 3x Beting before the flop
and this is how I lose a lot off hands (no sense to put these up)
I'm really trying to stop this leak or is it something everyone goes through ? ( I can't seem to face the fact they sometimes might really have it !)

Hand 1 probably open smaller pre, raise the turn. As played probably gotta call river.

Hand 2. As played bet/fold river.

Hand 3 3bet pre seems a perfect spot to squueze and pick up the dead money.

Hand 4. Bet flop, folds out hands which have decent equity vs us that will check back and catch up.
