Thoughts on turn aggression?

edited December 2014 in The Poker Clinic
I asked for this hand to be looked at on last night's show, but I don't think they showed it (that I saw) so thought I would post it up here instead.

Oppo was limping a lot and playing passive so when he raised on the turn I was pretty certain he had a jack.  I shoved knowing a jack would call.  Was I right to get all in at this point, or should I have been more cautious because of the paired board?  Obviously the river sucks but I think I would still play it the same way again.  Any thoughts on the play here?  I am trying to work on being more aggressive in good spots.

Edit - I have no idea why the hand isn't posting the cards properly!  I had KdQh, the flop came 10cJhJc, the turn was 9c and he called my shove with Js5s.  The river was 10h.

The nit in me thinks there is a case for calling and c/c any of the many blank river cards that could come... although then I'd be left disappointed if he has been doing this with a random trip Jacks that would have stacked off and I'd missed out on value.

Suited and paired board always seems a bit sketchy to be getting it all in multiway. JT/J9 both seem legit hands to flat pre in position (vs the isolator), as do a lot of suited cards.

Although as you got it in well ahead... wp and vul

Cheers mate.  Yeah I went with my read which turned out to be correct, but wouldn't always have been.  All good learning anyway.
