I'm actually alive and feeling spiffingly average...wow, how, by the laws of governance and New Scientist, did that happen? I may have to submit an article!!!

Well, after a commendable 28hour 27min foruming stint, at 11.27pm PRECISELY the fam (or rather the dominating male member PHYSICALLY (I'm undertaking legal advice by the way...anything to increase the bankroll right?) removed my shrivelled and possibly permanently disfigured right hand from my precious and faithful mouse to make me watch THE APPRENTICE US of all things!!!! (Donald Trump rocks btw...what a wig!!!).

Thus, the laptop lid was closed, and portal to my nether world was lost...I have to admit I did get a tad panicky but after phoning the madhouse I was advised to take a couple of betablockers and was utterly reassured that the trauma would pass in a year or two!

By my reckoning I was a snoring, dribbling and drooling sofa wretch by 11.38pm...I guess the mighty Trumpmeister will have to wait!!

So, after emerging like a caterpillar from a chrysalis from lovely 13 - yes 13 hour snooze (rudely disturbed by the fam leaving, the milkman, postman, binmen and the paperboy (how do these people get around in this weather?!!?) I am fully refreshed and ready to face that challenge of old!!!

BURN THE BR BABY!!!!!!! (oh yes, watch out folks.....it's POKER TIME...A bit like hammer-time without the hammer)

My self imposed ban is over and I resume my rightful place as a fully reinstated member of the poker maniacs...Ebenezer Scrooge...sniff my socks!!!

My only regret? Erm, hello NONE. NADA, NIL, ZILCH!!!!!

See you on the tables...YEEEE-HAAAA!!!
