I don't play loads of cash, but when I do I play very abc, so my concern is that I need to get value on the few hands I play.

How do you think I played this, flat call pre was for a bit of pot control as oppo had been splashing around a little.

I had caught him bluffing the river at least once, so I wanted to simply call him down as I felt I was ahead, let him have a stab if he had missed. Did I get value here, I didn't want to reraise the river though in case he had 2 pair (turn bets had been bigger when he was drawing, so I put him on a made hand).....thoughts?

Why pot control with a top hand vs someone who is splashing around? reraising for sure. Don't mind the rest, but would be tempted to raise river.

Uh, you have 2 pair on the river too which is going to beat any 2 pair villain can have!! If  play the hand like this and under-represent you have to raise this river for value :)

Thanks guys, comments appreciated, and very much taken on board.

I do feel as though I am missing value in spots like this.

I find if I have been running bad my confidence dips and I don't have a clear idea in my mind of the line I am taking.

Re raise pre, slam the flop, turn and river.

Or raise flop, pot turn, pot river.

Oh and Ivan we don't beat AA and KK. So don't say we do lol

One thing to take away from this is be more aggressive when in posisition. It will earn you more folds even if you miss and it makes people play a bit more honest against you so makes your hand reading easier.

Really good points and positive critique. I am guilty of being either a complete non believer and going crazy or being way too passive. I always appreciate people takingh time out to look at these posts and giving their opinions.

    I love to learn

    Thanks everyone
