Winning poker tournaments one hand at a time

edited January 2015 in The Poker Clinic
Quick question to anybody who has read these.

Do you really need to read all 3? I ask because they are quite pricey and I am tight lol. If you don't need to read all three then which volume is the best?

Does anybody have all three and willing to sell them cheaper than the prices Amazon are offering???

Never read them. But if you're looking for a recommendation, buy Dan Harrington's book on tournament play, volume 2. It's a little bit dated but I guarantee it will transform your play. The section on inflection points alone is worth the price.

PS: you're already a ruddy good tournament player, what are you looking to get from these books?

Just buy the first one mate, it covers nearly everything you need to know, and if you enjoy reading the book and feel it has made you enough profit from what you have learnt then you can freeroll buying the other 2 :)

I think the first two are a must. Very informative and will be a +EV purchase!

    Cheers for the replies.

Somebody has offered me the first 2 volumes in PDF format. Will see how I get along with that and then maybe buy volume 1 in paperback
